Christiaan Beekhuis, Gridtential’s CEO, used to demonstrate the inner architecture of the Silicon Joule battery by pulling apart a mock up version layer by layer. This took time and effort, not to mention the work it took to put it all back together. There was also another problem. When traveling with the demo battery, airport security officers would always want to scan it to make sure it is not a dangerous device.

We came up with a better solution. We created a fan deck design. Now, Chris and the Gridtential team can quickly talk about each unique layer of this amazing battery without doing the tedious work of pulling it apart. The design was so well received that we were asked to create five of these battery fan decks.

Gridtential will be exhibiting at Intersolar 2015, July 14th – 16th, Booth #8248 at San Francisco’s Moscone West Hall. Visit them to learn more about Silicon Joule Technology, and check out the fan deck yourself.
