Change is a good thing. After 10 years of living with the same website, the law firm of Wolkin Curran, which specializes in Surety & Construction as well as Liability Law, decided it was time for a redesign.

Its Web Redesign Committee: Michelle McArdle, Jennifer Elowsky, and Russell Bryson, contacted NeoStar Design for the makeover. The team asked that the new website maintain a professional look while making the information clear and contacting the firm an easy click away. They also requested that the new Team page be in a gallery format and that drilling down to each team member’s profile provide a breath of information such as their specialty, achievements, education, and direct contact information.

We went to work and gave the new site an up-to-date design that scales on all devices: computer, iPad, and mobile phones. The Homepage has a nice slider that lets visitors know it provides law services in San Francisco, San Diego, and Nevada. A welcome statement quickly informs them of the firm’s law specialties. All secondary pages feature the iconic Golden Gate Bridge which ties the firm to its San Francisco headquarters. The new Team page highlights each team member with a khaki border that references back to the firm’s logo signature. When you click on a photo, such as Jennifer Elowsky’s, you’ll get a detailed biography as well as her contact info.

Having a great Contact Us page is vital, so people can quickly find you or contact you. The new Contact Us page at WolkinCurran.com is no exception. It has two big Google maps with the firm’s locations in San Francisco and San Diego. Step-by-step driving directions are also included. To the right is Michelle McArdle’s contact info should a client need further information. Just below that is the firm’s contact info for both offices.

Everyone at Wolkin Curran loves the new website and we were happy that the collaborative effort made it a success.
